Bethlehem Highway Department
Municipal garage · Selkirk, NY

Read Reviews“Great secure job but your on call all winter”
Great secure job. Its a municipal position which means youre not flatrate and you are in the state retirement system. You are not going to get rich working here but the benefits and time off do make it worthwhile. The only real downer is that once snow starts falling, you are on call for every storm to plow/salt the roads. Everyone in the highway department from the maintenance guys all the way up to service technicians are there for the whole storm, no shifts. So keep that in mind.
